Bell and Ross Watches

Bell & Ross is one of the major Swiss manufacturers of designer watches. Currently headed by French designer tandem Carlos A. Rosillo and Bruno Belamich, the brand was first introduced to the public in 1993. During the early years, the first timepieces were made by noted German watchmaker, Sinn.

The partnership of Bell and Ross and Sinn lasted until 2002. During those years, the Bell & Ross watches that were manufactured carried Sinn’s logo together with the Bell & Ross logo. Sinn worked primarily on making dashboard meters, which is noted to be his specialization. The two friend’s tandem with Sinn created some of the most highly reputable watches ever manufactured. The timepieces they produced were adopted, used, and tested by NATO, the Air Force, and even the French security service. Notable achievements include creating the first automatic chronometer ever worn and used in space, holding a world title in water resistance record. The brand enjoyed much success during the partnership. However, when the collaboration ended in 2002, Bell & Ross started its own manufacture of watches in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. They now added design luxury to the reliable utilitarianism of the watches. They used fine sapphire crystals, acrylic crystals, and even diamonds in the straps and in the dials.

Bell & Ross are famous for making big-sized, aviation-themed watches. The timepieces range from beautifully designed with beautiful crystals and jewels around the rim to really big industrial and utilitarian watches. Always beautiful and striking, Bell & Ross can be worn both at formal social gatherings and traveling and sports events and you can be sure that it can still draw a lot of attention

One of the noted watches under the brand it the Diver 300 Black & White watch. Designed as a timeless work of art of inspiring simplicity and superb craftsmanship, the luxury diver’s chronograph can survive 300 meters deep of water exposure. The major parts such as the back, crown, and pushers are pretty much securely screwed to make sure that the case is stable enough and is completely waterproof. The case of the Diver 300 is made of polished stainless-steel case and is equipped with a unidirectional bezel that can be read even if you are swimming or have dived in the darkest of depths.

Because of the primary characteristics of Bell & Ross watches, excellent performance, precision, water-resistance, avant-garde design, and readability, the chronographs they produce are noted to be associated as designer timepieces for professionals who want the best tools for superb reliability. Extensively known to be used by divers, astronauts, engineers, and pilots as tools for their work, Bell & Ross have indeed established itself as the chronograph of choice of many professionals, especially those who require watches that can work under extreme and harsh environments. The brand is also known to tie itself with notable events in the field of motor racing.

More than style, design, luxury, and utility, wearing a Bell & Ross watch speaks of the wearer as someone strong, accomplished, and have successfully conquered challenges of time (and not to mention the challenge of the price tag).
